As a Freelance Website Designer and Developer based in Greystones, Wicklow in beautiful Ireland, I work with newly established local businesses to create and showcase their work within the community through unique bespoke websites.
I follow a very specific process so you are aware of every step of the journey to producing your website.
Understanding the client’s goals, target audience, branding guidelines and business requirements. This step also involves market and general research.
This involves deciding on the website’s features, functionality and design, and creating a project plan and timeline.
Designing and Imagining the website’s structure and navigation, including the pages, subpages, services, categories.
Setting out a rough layout of the website’s design and functionality.
Creating the website’s visual design, including colours, typography, graphics and other visual elements while respecting the agreed wireframes. Designs will be responsive, that is, adaptable and scalable on all device sizes.
Using No Code builders to create the frame designed, with additional custom HTML / CSS and Javascript to make sure the site follows the principles of UI/UX with the least impact on performance but with the best aesthetic views. Also build custom plugins if required.
Testing and quality assurance for the website’s functionality, usability and performance while fixing bugs or issues that arise. Testing also occurs on different devices to confirm every user will experience the correct interface even if on different devices.
Search Engine Optimisation – Optimising the website’s content, structure and metadata for search engines including Google to improve its ranking in search results.
Deploying the website to a web server, configuring domain name and hosting settings, and confirming the website is live – either the client’s own hosting or Spipdesigns’ hosting
Working with the client to make sure the website structure and required information can be managed, with instructions or walkthrough, as well as a number of ongoing reviews to make sure the experience is as expected.
Providing ongoing maintenance and support for the website, including updates, backups, and security measures.
I offer website design, development, maintenance, hosting, and branding services. The cost of each service depends on the specific requirements of the project. I provide detailed project estimates once we have discussed the scope and goals of the project.
I have worked with a wide range of industries and niches. However, if I haven’t worked with your specific industry or niche, I’m always willing to learn and research to ensure I can provide the best services for your project. In fact, each project has been a new industry and i would do a lot of study before creating the website.
The timeline for completing a project varies depending on the complexity of the project, the availability of the client, and other factors. However, I provide a project timeline in the initial estimate and work closely with clients to ensure we meet project deadlines.
Yes, I offer website maintenance and updates after the project is complete. The cost for these services varies depending on the scope of work required.
Yes, once the project is complete, you will have full ownership of the website and all its content. I also aim to empower you by demonstrating and having work sessions if required on how to use features of your site.
I offer a range of hosting options, including shared hosting and dedicated hosting. The cost of hosting depends on the type of hosting selected and the requirements of the project. For example, an e-commerce site will require more resources than a simple brochure site due to the amount of server resources required to run the site smoothly.
My payment structure varies depending on the project, but I typically require a deposit upfront before starting work. The remaining payment is due upon completion of the project.
Yes, I provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for websites after they are launched. This includes fixing any issues that arise, updating the website, and providing guidance on how to use and maintain the website.
Communication with clients involves regular check-ins and updates throughout the project. I typically use email, phone, or video conferencing to communicate with clients, but with local individuals and businesses i can meet in person and have face to face meetings.
The frequency of updates depends on the project timeline and the needs of the client, but I aim to provide regular updates to ensure the project stays on track.
