The Pizza Truck

The Pizza Truck is finally online, and pizzas can be ordered for delivery and collection. this is an ecommerce site, that required extensive custom building as it was a very specific project. This required building a specific plugin to cater for all scenarios a dynamic, ever changing business required.

The pizza truck has been in Greystones for a long time, but while being on instagram and facebook, has not had an online presence or website to showcase and offer a way for people not on social media to have access to the menu and phone. Therefore, it was felt, in the first instance, a simple website to show this. The second iteration of the website included building a complete custom plugin to allow online ordering and delivery, including the ability to select time, stock and other changes as required by the Pizza Truck Pizzailos.

While The Pizza Truck Logo is well established, it needed to be rebuilt in high definition, as well as using the typefont used on the menu. The colour was already set, and as the pizza truck operates in the evenings, a darker theme suited better. The biggest part of the website was in the backend, creating a complete custom e-commerce ordering and payment solution to cater to the clients who enjoy their pizza

The website, while appearing simple is actually very intricate including a number of custom fields including conditions such as specials on offer, change of opening times and dates, Christmas hours as well as having popups to show if closed on a specific day, which can be managed by the client. This needed to be as simple as possible.

 

This site was first built in 2022, and updated in 2024 to now include payment and ordering online.
